Nilfisk-ALTO launches the Ergo 2000 spray gun and Ergo Plus lance concepts and sets new standards in user friendliness and ergonomics and considerably reducing strain and tiredness.

Nilfisk-ALTO has always been the foremost innovator in terms of handling and user friendliness. First supplier to make an upright standing professional pressure washer, supplier of the quick coupling accessory concept and winner of the IF Design award for industrial ergonomic design, finding ways to reduce customer tiredness and stress is second nature to us.

Several years ago, Nilfisk-ALTO innovated by launching the Ergo 3000 spray gun, living up to this strategy of focusing on user friendliness and ergonomics.

In past years, focus has grown on more basic cleaning solutions – but still with the reduction of tiredness and ease of use being of great importance. As time goes on, health and safety issues become more and more important.

Nilfisk-ALTO once again takes a step forward in launching the new Ergo 2000, positionning the spray gun firmly as the most ergonomic and user friendly solution on the market.

The new design fits comfortably in the hand. There is plenty of space inside the trigger guard for big hands or for people wearing gloves. The trigger itself is activated by the strongest fingers. In addition to these basic features, Nilfisk-ALTO has added a totally new VarioPress regulator. This small trigger enables the adjustment of the pressure/flow with one finger – and is easily within reach of the main trigger itself.

The Ergo 2000 gun is also very easy to service, replacement of wear parts being done simply and quickly on the field. Ergo 2000 is also equipped with a SoftGrip rubber treatment around the trigger guard to reduce vibrations and ensure additional user comfort. The Ergo 2000 includes the standard quick bayonet coupling system for an easy change over of accessories
– reducing accessory change over time by more than 50%. But by far the greatest achievement on the new spray gun is the significant reduction in activation and holding forces. Activation force is the power required to pull the trigger each time you wish to work. Holding force is the power required to keep the trigger open and is critical in long term use. The higher the forces, the more tired the user will become – and the more risk there is of strain and injury due to repeated or long term use.

The new Ergo 2000 gun sets unmatched standard in both these areas:
• A reduction in activation forces of 25% compared to previous model and of 45% compared to competition models
• A reduction in holding forces of 26% compared to previous model and of 55% compared to competition models

This development clearly places the Ergo 2000 as one of the most user friendly spray gun on the market.

Efficient and Productive Cleaning with the Tornado Plus Nozzle

Nilfisk-ALTO equips all pressure washers with the patented Tornado Plus nozzle. The nozzle’s special geometry provides a highly concentrated water jet with less dispersion than with other
nozzles. As such, the cleaning effect and productivity are increased by up to 75%. Once again, Nilfisk-ALTO shows itself to be at the forefront of development and innovation
in the field of ergonomical design and easier cleaning.

New Plus lances

In addition, Nilfisk-ALTO launches an updated range of lances with new design and SoftGrip function to further decrease user tiredness.

• Universal Plus lance – with simple high pressure function
• FlexoPower Plus lance with high and low pressure adjustment at nozzle head and new improved low pressure nozzle
• Tornado Plus lance with 2 pipes and separate high and low pressure functions for optimal pressure cleaning and rinsing effect
• Turbohammer Plus lance – simple rotary jet lance
• Powerspeed Vario Plus lance – double pipe rotary jet lance with adjustable cleaning angle from 0 to 20° and both high pressure and low pressure functions.
